Restrictions

Fishing using a wire trace is illegal in the following areas:

  • All nearshore waters (within 800 m from shore) from Tim’s Thicket Beach to Two Rocks north and all waters of the Swan-Canning Estuary.
  • Busselton Jetty (400 m buffer around the jetty) and all nearshore waters (within 800 m from shore) along the Busselton foreshore (between the Vasse Diversion Drain and the Georgette Street boat ramp).  
  • Esperance Jetty (200 m buffer around the jetty) and extending out to 800 m from shore.
